Longmont Recreation Summer Day Camps
Longmont Recreation has three state-licensed summer day camps. Registration for all three camps begins at 7am, Wednesday, Feb. 4. You can find information about each camp below.
Camp MemorialÂ
Camp Memorial is a traditional summer camp for kids ages 5–10. It meets on weekdays all summer. Families can sign up by the day or by the week. The daily option is approved for CCAP.

Camp Dates: May 26 to August 7, 2026.
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Daily and weekly enrollment options:
- Daily fee:Â $60 resident/ $75 non-resident
- Weekly fee:Â $280 resident/ $350 non-resident
What to Expect Each Week
- 9 am – 4 pm:Â Programmed activities.
- 7:30-9 am & 4-5:30 pm:Â Drop off/pick up times. Activities are camper choice.
- Please aim to drop off campers by 9 am. If you need to drop off later, allow up to 30 minutes to get them with their group, and be prepared to meet us off-site if needed. Pickups begin after 4 pm.
- Mondays: Walking excursion (parks or library).
- Tuesdays: On site in the morning and swimming at Sunset Pool in the afternoon. Campers walk the mile there and back.
- Wednesdays: Contractors and special guests join us on site.
- Thursdays: Field trips to local parks. We generally leave around 10am and return to camp by 3:30pm. Wear your green camp t-shirt on Thursdays!
- Fridays: Swimming in the morning at Sunset Pool – walking both ways – and then an afternoon on site.

Camp DiscoveryÂ
Camp Discovery is an outdoor adventure-based camp for kids ages 7-11. It meets on weekdays all summer. Sign up is done by the week. Camp Discovery is not CCAP eligible.
Registration for Camp Discovery begins at 7 am on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026. Register online for Camp Discovery.

Camp is held on Friday, June 19.

This camp is a series of week-long, expedition-based program offered throughout the summer just for 11 and 12 year-olds. Expedition Tween Camp is not CCAP eligible.

• Thursdays: Local excursion in the morning and swimming at Sunset Pool in the afternoon.
• Fridays: Large offsite Excursion
• June 8-12: Butterfly Pavilion / Rockies Game
• June 15-19: Loveland Laser Tag / Pirate’s Cove
• June 22-26: Paddle Boarding / Meow Wolf
• June 29 – July 3: No Camp
• July 6-10: Kayaking / Denver Zoo
• July 13-17: Boondocks / Brighton Oasis
• July 20-24: Gateway Fun Park / Water World
• July 27-31: Genesee Challenge Course / Adventure Golf & Raceway
Campers enroll for a week of fun adventures: the fee is the same regardless of how many days a camper attends during that week. There is no separate registration fee for Expedition Tween.
Specialty Summer Camps & Activities
Longmont Recreation offers many summer camps led by our staff or by outside instructors. These camps last 2 to 5 days and focus on different activities, sports, or crafts. Registration for short-term camps starts Tuesday, April 14, 2026. The most up-to-date list of camps is available online as we get closer to that date. Check back often — we add new camps throughout the summer.
