Waste Services – Rates, Rules & Regulations
In 2017, the City of Longmont adopted a revised “Pay As You Throw” trash rate structure, which brings more equity to the program by allowing customers who dispose of less trash to choose smaller container sizes at much lower subscription pricing.
Customer Service
- New customers can set-up service through Utility Billing.
- Existing customers can modify services online through ServiceWorks or by contacting Waste Services.
- If you have questions about your bill, please contact Utility Billing.
We offer three package options, both with and without curbside composting. All residential trash service in Longmont includes curbside recycling at no extra cost.

Note: All customers pay a $2.96 Waste Management Fee on their monthly utility bill. This fee supports special collections and events offered throughout the year for customers.
