Paper Shredding
The City of Longmont offers free paper shredding events at Green Girl Recycling (1801 Boston Avenue) for Longmont households every month. Pack up your private and sensitive documents into boxes or bags, and bring them over to be safely shredded! You can bring up to three standard-sized file boxes to the event. Please note that this service is for residents only, so commercial or business materials cannot be accepted.

For City of Longmont Residents
This free event is for all City of Longmont residents. It is intended to support the recycling of shredded paper because shredded paper is not accepted in your curbside recycle or organics cart
- Required: Please bring a current City of Longmont Utility Bill and identification to show that you are a City resident.
- Non-residents and businesses are not accepted at these events. Contact Green Girl Recycling to schedule your document shredding needs (fees apply).
