The SOLL Project was created to support Longmont’s Sustainability Plan by giving residents the opportunity to learn about Sustainability Best Practices through neighborhood outreach and education. Developed in 2016, Longmont’s Sustainability Plan provides a road map for Longmont to achieve the vision of becoming an engaged community that promotes environmental stewardship, economic vitality, and social equity to create a sustainable and thriving future.

Volunteer with SOLL
Help your community be more sustainable as a SOLL Sustainability Ambassador.
SOLL appointments are conducted by trained volunteer “Ambassadors.” Volunteering as a SOLL Sustainability Ambassador is a great way to build green job skills and experience while helping your community become more environmentally friendly. Ambassadors receive free materials and training in sustainability, equity, and community involvement. Schedules are flexible with weekend and evening volunteer opportunities.
