2025 Maximum Income Limits for Down Payment Assistance Programs, Home Rehabilitation Programs, and AHF-, CDBG-, and HOME-funded Projects

Housing assistance programs have income and asset limits that households must meet in order to be considered eligible for a program. These limits are determined each year by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The City of Longmont uses Boulder County AMI numbers for all programs.

If you have any questions about how income and asset limits apply to your situation, please contact the City’s Housing and Community Investment Division. You can reach them via email at hci@longmontcolorado.gov or by phone at 303-774-4339.

Locally-Funded Programs

The City of Longmont uses annual income limits from the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) for locally-funded programs, including Local DPA, Affordable Housing Fund, and Inclusionary Housing. Specifically, the City uses CHFA’s Multifamily Loan and Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) Rent and Income Limits by Year table. CHFA’s data is derived from HUD data and calculates income limits for each Colorado county up to 120% Area Median Income (AMI). Income limits can be found on CHFA’s website.
