Registration for Fall Programming at the Longmont Museum is Now Open

LONGMONT, Colo. – Registration is now open for fall programming at the Longmont Museum. The Museum hosts dozens of programs, classes and camps for kids and adults beginning Sept. 20 and running through Dec. 31.

Young artists will explore a variety of materials and techniques during our fall Art Exploration Series. Each class features a new theme and activity, from Minions to Frankenstein to winter mountain scenes, on Sunday afternoons. Other favorite classes for kids and teens will include Collectible Card Game Design, the Steampunk Adventure Costume Workshop and the Build-a-Bot Costume parent/child workshop. The Museum also hosts multi-day fall and winter break camps, with topics ranging from dinosaurs and dragons to spies and robots.

Children ages 2 to 5 and a caregiver can participate in Discovery Days, an imaginative drop-in arts and crafts program held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday weekly at the Museum at a variety of times. Adults can join quilting and fiber art expert Nanci Imburgia for a series of art quilting and needle-felting classes this fall, a seminar on robotics in the entertainment industry or much more.

The season has also been announced for the Museum’s new 250-seat Stewart Auditorium and will include a Halloween Film Series, concerts and a TEDx Salon. The season will conclude with the Museum’s First Annual Holiday Festival, held Dec. 19. Tickets to these events can be purchased by calling (303) 651-8374.
