Tickets & Registration Now Open for Summer Season at the Longmont Museum

The Longmont Museum is thrilled to welcome the community this summer with outdoor concerts in our new courtyard, historic walking tours, the return of the Kids’ Film Series, Pride Month celebrations, and the first-ever members-only Mus-a-Palooza festival.

 

Tickets and reservations are now open for our summer season.

 

Historic Longmont Walking Tours

May 29 – June 12; $12

Explore historic downtown Longmont, historic eastside Longmont, and historic 3rd Avenue with these custom walking tours guided by Longmont Museum Curator of History Elizabeth Beaudoin! Advanced registration is required; these tours always sell out.

Kids’ Film Series

Tuesdays, June 3 – July 15, 10 am; $3 movie only, $6 movie + popcorn and juice box, free for babies age 1 and under

From nostalgic classics to recent blockbusters, enjoy a Tuesday morning movie with your little ones in our Stewart Auditorium with popcorn!

Summer Concert Series

Thursdays, June 19 – July 31, 7 – 8:30 pm; free

Join us for our first Summer Concert Series in our brand new, transformed Stewart Family Courtyard. Stretch out and enjoy some tunes from up-and-coming local bands and icons of Colorado’s music scene as the sun sets over Longs Peak. Lawn chairs and picnics welcome.

Don’t miss this pair of events to celebrate Pride. Catch the landmark documentary “Paris is Burning” (1990, R), followed by our inaugural Kiki Ball, which features performances, a runway show, and a dance competition.

Members-only: Mus-a-Palooza

Saturday, Aug. 2, 4 – 7 pm; free, reservations recommended

Attention all members! Join us for an afternoon festival for all ages in the Museum’s beautiful outdoor courtyard. Mus-a-Palooza will feature a rockin’ line-up of talented acts including family-friendly live music, tie-dye, friendship bracelets, building blocks, bubbles and so much more.
