Adventure Playground

Don’t miss this a one-of-a-kind play experience for kids. Climbing, digging, splashing, spinning, hopping and exploring are all encouraged!

Sandstone Ranch is a perfect place to gather friends and family. There are three shelters available for rent. You can make reservations online or by calling (303) 651-8404.

Overview

Sandstone Ranch Park is situated on 313 acres of land abundant in natural, cultural and historic resources. It is both a community park and a nature area. The western side of the park features a four-plex ball field complex. The eastern side of the park features sports fields, a skate park, an adventure playground, a group picnic shelter and the Visitor’s Center.

Directions

To get to Sandstone Ranch from Longmont, go east on Ken Pratt Boulevard / Highway 119, past the intersection of Weld County Road (WCR) 1. The ballpark facilities are located on the south side of the road, 1/2 mile east of WCR 1. The Visitors’ Center, sports field complex, skate park, adventure playground and picnic shelter are located on the south side of the road, 1 mile east of WCR 1.
