Remove graffiti as quickly as possible. Graffiti can be seen as a status symbol – removing it quickly eliminates this stance.

Type of Call Description
In Progress Graffiti Calls Dial 9-1-1. Residents are most effective when they call 9-1-1 for graffiti in progress and can provide a plate number, description of the vehicle, (color, make/model, and year) and number of occupants. As well as what the people defacing the property are wearing, approximate age as well as their gender. Do not approach those involved in what you believe is illegal activity.

Graffiti Removal For those instances in which residents would like to report graffiti that requires removal, the City's Public Works & Natural Resources Department provides oversight and removal services. Please submit a report online through ServiceWorks or call the graffiti hotline at (303) 774-4327. Calls will be responded to Monday through Friday within 48 hours. Your information will assist City staff in locating the graffiti and identifying a property owner (in some cases this may be the City) to inform them of their responsibility to remove the graffiti in a timely manner. The City provides a graffiti removal service and typically removes the graffiti within 48-72 hours of receiving the removal request. The graffiti report and removal request can both be accomplished through ServiceWorks or the graffiti hotline.

File A Police Report To file a police report regarding graffiti not currently in progress, please use the online reporting system. For questions, please call (303) 651-8555 between the hours of 8am-5pm.
