Homebound Services

A volunteer delivers materials to a homebound library patron

If physical limitations keep you from visiting the Library, let our Homebound Service bring the Library to you!

How the Homebound Service Works

Homebound Service is available to Longmont residents of any age who cannot visit the Library due to a temporary or permanent disability and do not have transportation assistance. Volunteers select and deliver materials to people in this program on a regular basis (at least once within a six-month period). You do not have to pay fines on overdue items. You will be expected to pay fines on lost or damaged Library materials. You must apply before you can receive this service.

Before You Apply

Homebound Service is reserved for residents who intend to use it at least once in any six-month period. Accounts with no activity for more than six months will be discontinued. Homebound patrons are responsible for notifying the Library if and when they no longer require this service.

How to apply for Homebound Service:

Fill out the online application (you can complete this in English or Spanish) or download a PDF of the English application (or a PDF of the Spanish application) to print out, complete, and mail to the Longmont Public Library, 355 Emery St., Longmont, CO 80501.
