Library Hold Pickup Lockers
Pick up holds and return materials at a locker location!
The Library has added two hold pickup lockers and two return boxes at two convenient locations in Longmont. This convenience allows you to pick up and return Library materials outside of Library hours.
Lockers and return boxes are located at Ascent at Hover Crossing (2225 18th Ave.) and Lashley Street Station (1200 Lashley St.).
What is a hold pickup locker?
Hold pickup lockers work like the lockers you may see at stores, but instead of packages, they hold Library books and other items you place on hold.
How to use a locker:
- Place a hold using the online catalog inside or outside the Library. You will need your Library card number and PIN (try the last four digits of your phone number) to place a hold.
- From the dropdown menu, select one of the two locker locations from the list of pick up options. Locker locations are near the top of the list.
- Click “submit”.
- When your hold items are ready for pickup you will be notified.
- Go to the locker, scan your library card (or key in your card number) at the touch keypad, and the locker door (or doors) will open automatically.
- Remove items and close the locker door(s).
- All Library items will be checked out automatically when locker door(s) close.
That’s it! Hold pickup lockers are easy to use, well lit, and secure.
