Teen Services
A Space All Your Own
Children and Teen Services at Longmont Public Library offers an enriching, inclusive, and fun environment for teens. We promote a love of reading and life-long learning and respect the diverse experiences of our community of teens. Teens have their own space in our Library and online where they can receive homework help, book suggestions, and interact with other teens through various events, activities and volunteering.
Teen Programs
6th-12th graders: Activities like Dungeons and Dragons are powered and led by teens; writers group offers a safe space for teens to express their creativity and ideas; and special events give teens an opportunity to interact with their peers and have fun!
Homework Help
The Library offers teens multiple ways to get help with their homework. We have free tutoring online through the Tutor.com service, and it’s available on your schedule.
Volunteer at the Library
Looking for volunteering opportunities? Have NHS, IB or school credits that you need to complete? We have some great options for teens who want to give something back to their communities, and we really appreciate our teen volunteers!
Safety at the Library
- In accordance with the Children’s Internet Protection Act, online access in our computer labs is filtered for children and young adults younger than 18.
