Callahan House Facility Rental Areas
Main House
- 30-40 guests is best for indoor events on the main floor.
- Up to 75 guests can be accommodated in the house utilizing both the main and upper floors.
- The house is wheelchair accessible on the main floor only. Restrooms are available on both floors.
Garden
- 125 guests for a garden event late May-October, with access to the main house
Automobile House
- Up to 15 guests
- Living room atmosphere – couch, table, chairs, lamps
- Small kitchenette – microwave refrigerator and coffeemaker
- Separate bathroom
- Serves as wedding party get ready space.
Upstairs Meeting Room
- Up to 36 guests
- Projector and screen with HDMI available

- Indoor/porch tables and chairs for 36-48 guests
- Outdoor tables and chairs for up to 125 guests
- Buffet/beverage/cake tables, DJ table

What will it cost to hold your event at Callahan House?
A 9% historic preservation fee and damage deposit are required for all private events.
- Callahan House is rented on an hourly basis with hourly rates paid from the start of setup to the end of cleanup time.
- The 9% historic preservation fee helps to maintain our National Historic Landmark.
- The damage deposit is $500 for preferred or self-catering or $800 for non-preferred catering but is fully refundable if no damage occurs. This is separate from the initial reservation fee.
- Event liability insurance requirements (for events with alcohol) are outlined in the Callahan House Rental Use Agreement which you will receive when booking.
- Additional fees may be applied depending on the details of your event.
Fees, structure, and information provided is subject to change unless an initial reservation payment has been made by the client.
Rental Times
When you reserve the Callahan House for your event, rental time begins with the beginning of setup and ends with completion of cleanup.
- Guests may not be present during setup time and are to depart at the end of your event time.
- All catered events require 2 hours of setup time.
- All events end by 10pm with cleanup ending at 11pm.
- Events lasting longer than agreed upon rental times may incur additional fees.

Reserving Your Date
- Event dates will be held only upon receipt of initial reservation payment which is 1 hour of your rental time. This payment will count towards your final payment but is non-refundable if you cancel your reservation.
- A detailed estimate is provided at booking and before payment is due.
- Final payment is due two weeks prior to your event.
- Refunds cannot be granted once payments are made if you cancel your reservation. However, we will grant up to one date change before payments are forfeit.
