Clean-Up Green-Up Campaign

Join your neighbors and community to clean up our businesses, streets and alleys, parks, greenways, and fields during the Annual Clean-Up Green-Up event. You or your group may do your clean up at any time during this period. We urge you to wear gloves for your safety during your clean up activities. When you register, you'll choose a park, bike path, street, alley, open space, or a section of the St. Vrain Greenway to spruce up. Or, if you are undecided, an area can be assigned to you.

Want more information, trash and recycle bags, or to sign up for an additional space? Contact (303) 651-8955 and one of us will get back with you.

Let’s make our little corner of this world shine! Participate in the Clean-up Green-up event!

This event is sponsored by the City of Longmont, Parks & Natural Resources Division, and the Longmont Times-Call newspaper.

Program Description

Community groups, businesses, schools, neighborhoods, families and individuals can participate. Volunteers choose a neighborhood, a park, a trail, an open space or a street to clean up (or the Clean Up, Green Up coordinator can help in assigning an area).

After the Kickoff event and throughout the rest of the month, volunteers are welcome to contact the Clean Up, Green Up coordinator to organize individual or group Clean Up, Green Up events.

NOTE: Volunteers are also welcome to organize trash clean up events throughout the rest of the year through the Keep Longmont Beautiful volunteer program.

Time Commitment

Individual and group volunteers are encouraged to attend the annual Clean Up, Green Up Kickoff event. After this, volunteers may sign up for as few or as many other events throughout the campaign period as their schedule allows.

Register

There are two steps to register:

  1. Please register for our volunteer portal, JoinUs. You will be able to register for volunteer events.
  2. Please reach out to the Clean Up, Green Up coordinator. You will be added to the event volunteer group allowing you to receive event-specific communications, plan your own Clean Up, Green Up events, and track your service hours.

Contact the 303-651-8955 for more information.
