Renting Space at the Longmont Museum
When not used for museum programming The Longmont Museum offers the Stewart Auditorium, the Swan Atrium, Kaiser C Classroom, and the Stewart Family Pavilion and Courtyard as rental space for individuals, nonprofits, local businesses and community groups, to host their event.

Performance and Event Spaces
The Museum’s Performance and Event Spaces are available for private or public events, with discounts given to non-profit organizations.
Priority may be given to programs and events that align with the Museum’s mission to provide opportunities to discover new ideas, experience art, or explore the history of the region.
The four rental spaces at the museum include:
- the exquisite 250-seat capacity Stewart Auditorium
- the elegant Swan Atrium, with a two-story glass wall,
- the Kaiser C Classroom, and the newly renovated Stewart Family Courtyard, with a new outdoor pavilion and outdoor patio space.
Conference and Meeting Spaces
The Museum’s Kaiser C Classroom has a large screen and a ceiling mounted projector. It is a versatile space and is ideal for meetings and small educational presentations, workshops, and conferences. It can accommodate 70 people seated at tables, or 100 people if chairs are positioned in rows.
For larger presentations or performances, the 250-seat Stewart Auditorium is a wonderful venue. Included with the auditorium rental are the Swan Atrium and one tech person to operate the lights and sound.
How to Rent a Space at the Longmont Museum
If you would like to rent space at the Longmont Museum your special event, film, presentation, or performance, please complete the online Rental Space Application Form by the 15th day of the month preceding the month of your event.
After receiving your application, we will check availability and get back to you within five business days. When we contact you, we will clarify any questions and give you a cost estimate so you can determine if you would like to proceed with a rental agreement. No date is considered reserved or confirmed until we have received both a signed rental agreement and the payment of the security and damage deposit.
