How to Rent the Stewart Family Courtyard
If you would like to rent the courtyard or the Courtyard Patio for your event or performance, please complete the online Rental Space Application Form by the 15th day of the month preceding the month of your event.
After receiving your application, we will check availability and get back to you within five business days. When we contact you, we will clarify any questions and give you a cost estimate so you can determine if you would like to proceed with a rental agreement. Date is not reserved or confirmed until we have received a signed rental agreement and the security and damage deposit.
Rental Hours & After Hours Fee
Regular Museum hours are from 9 am – 5 pm Monday – Saturday, and 1 pm – 5 pm on Sunday. The Museum rental spaces are available from 7:30 am-10:30 pm, except for most holidays. For rentals extending beyond our regular Museum hours there is a $175 after-hours fee.
Stewart Family Pavilion & Courtyard Rental Rates
The maximum capacity of the courtyard and patio is 700.
The minimum rental time is 5 hours.
The Security & Damage deposit is $750.
Standard Rental Rate is $2,250 for 5hours + $400 for each additional hour.
Nonprofit Rate is $1,750 for 5 hours + $300 for each additional hour.

- Up to 10 tables and 60 chairs, including high top tables
- Kitchen access for caterer

Tables and Chairs for the Courtyard and Patio
The Museum does not offer linens or large round tables.
For weddings or elegant dinners, round tables, tablecloths, and chairs will need to be rented from an outside vendor and delivered to the museum for your event.Â
Courtyard Patio Only
The Courtyard Patio can be rented separately for receptions or special events.
The maximum capacity of the courtyard patio is 150 seated, or 250 for a reception.
The minimum rental time is 3 hours.
The Security & Damage deposit is $250.
Courtyard Only Rate is $400 for 3 hours + $125 for each additional hour.
Courtyard Only Nonprofit rate is 300 for 3 hours + $100 for each additional hour.
Included with Patio Rental
The patio rental includes:
- PA system
- a building supervisor
- Outdoor benches
- Kitchen access for caterer
Add-on options
- Add up to 10 tables and 60 chairs for $150
For larger dinners or receptions tables and chairs will need to be rented from outside and delivered to the museum for your event. The museum does not offer tablecloths or linens.
Add-on Bar Service Option
The museum holds a liquor license and bar service can be added to any rental agreement.
