Preregistration is required. Register online, by phone or in person. Camps are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Register early; camps fill quickly! Questions? Call 303-651-8374.
Become a Member of the Museum and receive 10% off every camp and the opportunity to register one week before the general public! Children must be named on the membership and memberships must be active at the time of the camp in order to receive the discount for their camp registration.
To provide the best experience for everyone, all children must meet the age requirement at the start of the camp date.
Each child must have a complete participation waiver to participate in camp. We encourage folks to complete the waiver form before their child’s camp begins. You only need to complete one waiver for this year, even if your child is participating in multiple camps. There are no online waivers – we are only accepting paper waivers. If someone other than the camper’s guardian will be signing them in to camp on the first day, please be sure that they have the waiver already filled out and signed. We cannot allow you to leave your minor with us unless we have a complete signed waiver at sign in on the first day of camp.
There are three ways to complete your participation waiver:
- The Museum Front Desk will have paper waivers that you can pick up, complete and return to the Museum.
- On the Thursday before your child’s camp begins, you will receive an email with a welcome message and an attached PDF of the waiver that can be printed, filled out, signed and brought to camp sign-in on Monday. Please do not edit the PDF and email it back to us – we are only accepting paper waivers.
- On the Monday that your child’s camp starts, you may arrive 15 minutes before your camp start time and complete a paper waiver before leaving your child with us for camp.
We want every camper to have the best experience possible. If there is anything you want us to know about your child, or strategies that would help us when working with your child, please let us know on the waiver.
Need a little extra time? From 12 – 1 pm each day, we’ll have supervised play and brown bag Lunch Bunch at the Museum. Pick up your morning campers or drop off your afternoon campers anytime during this hour. Campers who are attending camps in both the morning and afternoon can bridge their sessions with this hour to make their camps full day. No additional cost or registration needed!
Please bring a snack and a water bottle with your camper’s name on it to camp each day.
Getting messy is highly likely in camp; choose clothing that you feel comfortable letting your child get dirty or stained with art materials and dirt.
Please ensure that your camper eats a well-balanced meal before coming to camp. Campers may be provided with some snacks during camp.
If your child has any serious allergies, please note this on the waiver form. If your child carries an epi pen, please alert the instructor on the first day of camp and inform them of where the epi pen is kept.
Neither Museum staff nor camp instructors are permitted to give children medication, and that includes injecting an epi pen. Children who might require an epi pen are required to be able to administer the epi pen themselves (with Museum staff supervision). We ask that you practice the routine before camp begins so that your child is prepared.
When to keep your child home:
- Diarrhea or vomiting within the last 24 hours
- Fever of 100 or greater in the last 24 hours
- Unexplained or unusual sore throat, runny nose, muscle aches, headache
Please keep your camper home if they are sick, and send an email to Leigh.Putman@longmontcolorado.gov and Ann.Macca@longmontcolorado.gov to notify the Museum.
Thanks to the generosity and support of the Dodge Family Fund and the Stewart Family Foundation, summer camp scholarships are available for summer 2026! A scholarship will cover the cost of one camp per child for the 2026 summer camp season. Scholarships are processed in the order in which we receive them. Applications coming soon!
