Exhibitions

Regional history, internationally-known artists and hands-on learning are all part of the mix of exhibitions at the Longmont Museum. Permanent exhibits document the 14,000 years of human history in Longmont, and the people who helped to create this community.

Upcoming Gallery Closure
Following the Picasso exhibit (May 2025), the galleries will be closed for construction for at least a year as we work toward our exciting expansion. Even though the galleries will be closed, Museum programs will continue! Members will continue to have significant benefits at the Museum, including discounts on Summer Camp, discounts on Discovery Days, discounts on programs in the Stewart Auditorium, admission to members-only events, discounts in the Gift Shop and more. Continuing your membership while the galleries are closed will provide critical support for the Museum during this important time of our expansion. When finished, the expansion will include a brand-new, dedicated children’s gallery and a new, larger feature gallery. We expect the new galleries to open in Fall 2026.
