Stewart Auditorium
The Longmont Museum’s Stewart Auditorium is a multidisciplinary performing arts venue perfect for concerts, presentations, conferences, lectures, film screenings, and more.
The Auditorium has a 250 seat capacity, including 5 wheelchair seats.
Use of the Auditorium Includes:
- 2 dressing rooms with large mirrors, vanity lights, and clothing racks
- Tech Staff
- Museum Staff support
- Use of the Swan Atrium
Additional materials can be provided as needed including a podium, black orchestra chairs, music stands, microphone(s), and the projector and screen.
Certain materials are available to use in the Auditorium for an additional fee.
The Museum has a lovely Shigeru Kawai concert grand piano that is available to use for concerts or performances with an additional fee of $300.
The Museum has choral risers for large choirs to use with an additional fee of $175.
The auditorium stage is dressed with black velvet curtains. These curtains can be taken down with an additional fee of $225.
A rental of the Stewart Auditorium includes one member of the Longmont Museum’s tech staff to run the lights and sound for the duration of your event. If you are in need of additional support a second member of our tech staff can be added to your rental for $45 per hour needed.
The Auditorium is equipped with three mounted Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) cameras that can be used to record or livestream your event.
Livestreaming can be arranged by the Museum for $300 for 3 hours and $75 each additional hour.
The equipment specifications are:
- 3 Datavidio PTC-HDBase PTZ Camera with 30x Zoom and HDBT receiver
- 1 Roland V-8HD 8 input HDMI Switcher
- 1 Datavideo RMC-180 Camera Controller
- 1 Datavideo NVS-35 Streaming Appliance
- 2 22″ flatscreen monitors
Bar and/or Concessions service can be added to any event, and food and drink are permitted inside the Stewart Auditorium. For bar service, there is aa $150 bar setup fee. To learn more about bar service please refer to our Alcohol Policies page.
