Museum exterior with glass rotunda

Ways to enjoy the Museum virtually

Concerts, Performances, and other Auditorium programs: When we host free talks or concerts, we work with Longmont Public Media to stream them live.

Virtual Day of the Dead Celebration: Visit the Longmont Day of the Dead website in English or Spanish to learn how to build your own altar, cook traditional meals, make crafts, and more.

Virtual Historic Longmont Tours: In addition to our guided summer walking tours, select tours are now available year-round, in a handy mobile app. Visit https://longmontcolorado.gov/virtualtours for historic photographs, text, and audio recordings that walk you through different aspects of Longmont’s rich history. Text and audio are provided in both English and Spanish. These virtual tours are free, don’t require a download, and can be enjoyed both in and outside of your home

Online historic photo collection: Explore the Longmont Museum’s historic collection online in this searchable database! We have more than 5,000 images you can explore that show what life was like in Longmont, CO throughout history.

360 virtual exhibition tours: Check out our 360 tours, which allow you to click to guide yourself through current and past exhibits, move your mouse to look around, and, in many cases, even read the labels. These are best viewed on a computer rather than a phone.

Welcome to the new website! We’re still fine-tuning things, so please bear with us as we make improvements.
