The Longmont Museum holds more than 80,000 photographs of Longmont and the surrounding area, from the 1860s to the present. This collection is made possible by the many people who have donated photographs since the Museum began collecting in 1940.

More than 5,000 photographs are now available online, with more photos added as time permits.

Collection highlights:

 

  • 800 photos from the early 1900s by Longmont photographer Charles W. Boynton
  • Photographs of Main Street in Longmont from 1872 to the 1970s.
  • The Great Western Sugar factory
  • Agriculture – plowing, planting and harvesting crops in the St. Vrain Valley
  • Photos from the Longmont Times-Call collection

11×14: $15 + tax
16×20: $30 + tax
20×30: $45 + tax

Minimum print order: $20

Prints are printed at a professional photo lab; allow 5 business days minimum for orders.
Shipping for prints smaller than 11×14 is $15 and $25 for larger sizes.

 

Digital files
Standard scan: $15 + tax
Custom scan: $25 + tax

Standard scans are at least 600 dpi, and files are saved as TIF format and will be shared via OneDrive.
